The Baton Rouge Area Football Officials Association is an organization of dedicated men and women striving to continually improve the techniques of officiating, the understanding of the rules of the game of high school football, as well as the uniform and consistent application of those rules.
BRAFOA seeks to foster a closer relationship, a higher standard of ethics, and a better understanding among and between officials, coaches, and players.
It is BRAFOA’s goal to encourage fair play, sportsmanship and cooperation among and between officials, coaches, and players.
BRAFOA also aims to recruit, train, and supervise football officials in accordance with the rules and regulations of this Association and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA).
